Sitting here in Valencia this morning.
The 8-hour head start is a cheat code for focused, uninterrupted work.
I spent the time nailing the Ship30 Partner onboarding flow.
Last week, I spoke to a handful of new partners. The most common piece of feedback I got? "Overwhelmed."
It’s easy to overcomplicate things when you start a new program.
At beehiiv, it was simple: one SaaS subscription was eligible for commission, and one core funnel for partners to promote.
With Ship30, it's different. We have 5+ digital products eligible across multiple domains.
I’d made the classic mistake: I sprinted to set the program up, but I failed to make it simple/easy for new partners to see the cash path.
This week, my entire focus is on fixing the "Clarity Tax."
I’m mapping out all eligible products, commissions, bounties, and performance tiers ridiculously easy to understand.
But here’s the most important part: I’m defining the first 3 actions a new partner can take to see success immediately.
This will most likely be a continual process of revisions and refinement.
I’ll share progress as I build.
One good question to ask: “What is one thing I can do this week to make my program more clear and easy for partners to get traction?”
Keep stacking 🧱
